1) Usage:
ESR tubes are used for collection and anti-coagulation of blood specimens for erythrocyte sedimentation rate test. ESR measurements refer to the Westergren method. The blood to additive ratio is 4 parts blood to 1 parts additive. While using the 2mL specification tube, immediately after the blood collection, gently invert the tube for 5-8 times.
2）Limitation:
The tubes are not suitable for patients with chyle blood, the instrument might not be able to read the blood sedimentation rate.
